Why does DawnPal need location access?
DawnPal uses your location to calculate sunrise and sunset times. The app won’t work correctly without it.
Why do you need notifications?
Alarms and bedtime nudges are delivered through notifications, even when the app is closed.
How do I change the background image?
Open Settings → Appearance → Background image. You can pick a photo from your library or reset to default.
My alarm didn’t ring. What should I check?
Confirm notifications are enabled, that an alarm time is set, and that your device isn’t in Focus or Silent modes that block alerts.
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. You can view, cancel, or change plans in your Apple ID settings.
Can I use DawnPal offline?
Yes. Core features work offline. Location is cached locally so alarms keep working without a connection.
