Simple Summary: PicFlic accesses your photos and videos only on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays private on your device.
Introduction
Welcome to PicFlic ("we," "our," or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how PicFlic handles your information when you use our photo management application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
Information We Access
PicFlic requires access to the following on your device:
- Photo Library: The App accesses your photos and videos to display them in the gallery and allow you to organize and delete unwanted items.
- Local Preferences: The App stores your settings and preferences (such as UI preferences) locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms.
What We Do NOT Do
PicFlic is designed with privacy as a core principle. We want to be crystal clear about what we do NOT do:
- We do not collect any of your photos or videos
- We do not upload any of your data to our servers or any third-party servers
- We do not track your usage or behavior
- We do not share any information with third parties
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services
- We do not store any personally identifiable information
How Your Data is Processed
All operations in PicFlic happen entirely on your device. When you:
- Browse photos: Photos are loaded directly from your device's photo library
- Delete photos: Deletions are performed through standard iOS APIs and affect only your local photo library
- Undo deletions: Undo information is temporarily stored locally on your device
- Change settings: Preferences are saved locally using iOS UserDefaults
No network connection is required or used for the core functionality of PicFlic.
Third-Party Services
PicFlic does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App operates entirely offline and does not communicate with external servers.
Data Security
Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted, your photos and information are protected by your device's built-in security features, including iOS encryption and your device passcode or biometric authentication.
Children's Privacy
PicFlic does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The App simply provides a user interface to manage photos that are already stored on your device.
Your Rights and Control
You have complete control over your data:
- Photo Access: You can revoke photo library access at any time in iOS Settings → PicFlic → Photos
- App Data: You can delete all app data by uninstalling PicFlic
- Settings: All app preferences are stored locally and can be reset by reinstalling the app
